Kindergarten – American Diploma Section
An activity for the Health Day was held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
The activity was about health and healthy food.
Linking healthy food to colors added fun to the topic and showed children
how colorful healthy food can be.
The mothers were encouraged to join and participate
by wearing matching clothes with their children and the color of the healthy food they prepared to share with friends.
In this activity, a community partnership with Andalusia Dental Center was achieved
by hosting Dr. Haba Samir as she gave the mothers a lecture entitled “Modifying Children’s Behavior.” The partnership also included a dental checkup
for the KG students and providing a toothbrush as a gift for each student.
Moreover, the mothers participated along
with their children in different games and work together
in various creative and heath corners.
